Fall has Arrived

27 Sep

It seems that for Fall 2010 many of the makeup “trends” are actually classic looks – red lips, winged eyeliner, full eyebrows, barely there make-up and violet hues. This week I will show you some of these looks and have some fun with them. Obviously, pastel blue eyeshadow and frosted pink lips can date your look, but these are some looks that will always look current.

Im so glad you mentioned the full eyebrow. Just yesterday i tried to thicken my eyebrow using an eyeliner pencil. Ekkk i looked real angry.Aiutoooooo…Can you please give me a tutorial beauty nerd. What are some tips when stenciling your brow?

For brows I really prefer an eyeshadow or a shadow made specifically for brows. I like to use an angled brush and do light strokes with the shadow for a more natural look. Will show some examples this week!

I’m anxiously awaiting your next post… also wondering about nail colour for this season. I like a classy look – I see that blue and green are on the shelves but any alternatives for a business career woman?

Hey G! If you are worried about wearing nail polish that is too crazy but want to stay on trend why not try some of the heather grey colours that are also really popular right now. OPI has a nice one called You don’t Know Jacques. If you want to try a green, try the khaki green colours so they are a little more sub-dued. I know how much you love khaki!
